Why preach?

We preach Jesus Christ. He is God who became a human in order to take humans and bring them to God.

The Bible is used to preach the good news (The Gospel). The whole Bible is about Jesus; who He is, what He has done for us, and what He continues to do for us. Through Jesus we meet God the Father and are able to live by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We usually preach through a whole book from the Bible verse-by-verse. Sometimes God leads us to look at a specific character from the Bible or a specific topic from the Bible. We do this because “faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Romans 10:17).
